Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
This policy applies to browsing documentation, reading tutorials, and accessing download links on v2raygpu.com. V2Ray Docs Center is a static content website with no account registration or email submission forms. Website visits and client software use involve separate data practices; this policy explains what the site handles.
1. Traffic Data and Scope of Processing
When your browser requests pages, fonts, or scripts, the infrastructure serving the site receives information needed to deliver them, including your IP address, request time, page path, browser identifier, and response status. These access records are used to deliver content, diagnose errors, and handle unusual requests. Visitors are not asked to submit personal details.
This site does not host proxy nodes, store subscriptions, or accept configuration uploads. Server addresses, subscription credentials, connection records, and proxy traffic in your client are outside the scope of data collected by this documentation service. Do not include passwords, subscription links, or other sensitive information in page query parameters; URLs may be recorded in logs or analytics data.
2. How We Use Website Analytics
We use website analytics to understand page views, referral sources, device categories, and navigation patterns. Actions such as switching platforms on the download page may also generate analytics events. This helps us assess whether links are clear, identify display issues, and plan documentation updates. Events describe activity on the website; they do not indicate that a client was installed or connected successfully.
Analytics are used primarily for aggregate analysis, not advertising profiles. Browser extensions, network restrictions, or privacy settings may block analytics requests; this will not affect access to page content. Retention periods for infrastructure logs and analytics depend on the deployment configuration. We do not promise a fixed retention period unless it has been verified.
3. Cookies and Browser Storage
Analytics tools may use cookies or similar browser identifiers to distinguish visits and sessions. Whether they are stored depends on the current deployment configuration and browser restrictions. Page directories, language paths, and platform selections may also be preserved in URL paths or fragments. A URL fragment is not a cookie and does not mean a personal account has been created.
You can view, restrict, or clear this site's cookies and browser storage in your browser's site settings. Clearing them may reset saved preferences or analytics identifiers in your browser, but it does not automatically delete access records already stored on the server. Client software manages its own configuration storage and permissions; browser storage settings do not control them.
4. Download Sources and External Services
The client downloads page links to installers for v2rayN, v2rayNG, and v2flyNG. Download URLs are resolved from a version manifest provided by the deployment service. Files are delivered by a download service or through a redirect to the file source specified in the manifest. Installers are not part of the static documentation resources; their versions and availability depend on the relevant release and distribution services.
Download requests send necessary network information to the service handling each request. Even when the link shows this site's domain, file transfers may involve services other than the one hosting the documentation pages. If you are redirected to an external site, its own privacy policy governs how it handles data. This policy does not replace third-party policies or cover services contacted by a client after installation.
5. Privacy Controls and Policy Updates
You can control future website requests by restricting scripts, managing site data, or leaving the site in your browser. Before downloading software, review the selected client's permissions and configuration guidance, and distinguish the roles of the documentation site, file distribution services, and the destinations the client connects to.
If our data practices, analytics, or download process change materially, we will update this page and revise the month shown at the top. We do not send policy updates by email. For questions about website actions or configuration boundaries, see the Quick Start Guide and related guidance. Do not submit credentials or personal information through this page.
